Commercial Underwriter (North Yorkshire)

Due to ongoing expansion my client seeks to recruit a technically competent commercial underwriter for it North Yorkshire branch.

This role will involve providing quotations via the telephone or in writing, placing cover when instructed, inviting and confirming renewals, dealing with mid term adjustments and providing assistance with claims issues when appropriate.

Day to day responsibilities aside, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced underwriter to join a team that needs to differentiate itself from vast competition.

You will be required not only to produce accurate quotes based on defined product sets, but to have input in helping design new products and help evolve existing ones. This will be achieved by a creative mind based on experience and via ongoing think tank sessions and a desire to provide alternative solutions to our clients.
